Bathrooms Willoughby.
At the same time we were undertaking a full kitchen renovation at this Willoughby home, we completed the main bathroom renovation. Not only does this save time and money but it reduces the impact on the homeowners during the renovation process.
While the original bathroom was only 10 or so years old, it was dark and wasn’t cohesive with the interior design style of the rest of the property. Additionally, the bathroom was cluttered and had an impractical layout.

The first step in the bathroom design process was to move the location of the shower and vanity. In the original layout, the first thing you saw when you entered was the shower. We moved the shower to the back wall and replaced it with the beautiful new wall-mounted vanity so it is the first thing you now see when entering the bathroom. The bath and WC remained in the same location.
We built a shelf wall adjacent to the bath and vanity which added depth to the wall and a decorative shelf. The feature wall lined up with the profile of the recessed shaving cabinet. The exposed timber surround of the shaving cabinet matched the vanity.
Feature tiles, in a similar design to the kitchen benchtops, were applied to the wall for design cohesion. Kit Kat tiles were applied behind the shelf wall to add contrast and texture. The rest of the walls featured large matt-white tiles.
The timber vanity, contrasting grey vanity, luxe gold tapware and towel rails added a sense of luxury and warmth.
