Kitchen design Willoughby.
No expense was spared when it came to this spectacular kitchen renovation in Willoughby on Sydney’s Lower North Shore.
The client had lived in the home for several years and, while the property was only built in the early 2000s, the original kitchen was dark and lifeless (see before and after photo below).
On this kitchen renovation project, we worked in conjunction with the client’s interior design consultant to create an aesthetic that was both stylish and luxurious, whilst at the same time warm and inviting. This was achieved by using a neutral colour palette, a mixture of textural materials and finishes, and luxe tapware and handles. All appliances were integrated so the facade was clean and clutter-free.
The kitchen space was sufficient to achieve the client’s vision so additional structural work (i.e. wall removal) was not required. We did rearrange some some elements of the kitchen to achieve a more functional and intuitive design. We were then able to add significantly more cabinets which vastly increased the storage options.
Top of the client’s wish list was a walk-in pantry which we were able to include in the new kitchen design.
This kitchen features a number of luxury elements giving it the unique design individuality that the client was seeking, including:
- Quartzite benchtop and splashbacks in Sensa Taj Mahal – the uniqueness of natural stone makes this kitchen a one-of-a-kind
- Micro cemented rangehood – the addition of another textural element
- 30mm slimline shaker-style cabinetry (the standard is 60mm)
- Lo & Co kintore pull brass handles
- Billi Australia sparkling and boiling water tap
- Cocktail cabinet and coffee bar hidden behind pocket doors – Evenex deep grain oak
- Integrated drawer below the sink for dishwashing items
- Miele integrated oven/combi oven
- Miele 80cm induction cooktop
- Miele 60cm integrated dishwasher
- Franke Maris undermount sink
- Brodware brass pull out sink mixer
As the photos attest, the finished result was a stunningly beautiful kitchen, that is functional and practical, and will now stand the test of time.
